Events Intern

Cartier Benelux & Nordics is looking for an Events Intern to join its Communications Department from February 2025 for six months. This role involves supportingt the Event Project Managers in planning, organizing, and executing internal and external events across seven countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. As an Events Intern, you will update the events database with information on suppliers, catering, and venues, as well as monitor and update the event calendar and budget using Excel. You will collaborate with the finance team for vendor management, ensuring smooth processes. Managing the events inventory and acting as the main contact for the warehouse will be a key part of the role, along with coordinating shipments for events. You’ll assist in preparing creative briefs, presentations, and post-event reports using PowerPoint, giving you insight into event management. Additionally, you'll gather and organize information on competitors to help refine event strategies. The ideal candidate is a creative, hands-on student in their second year or higher, specializing in events, marketing, or communication. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus. You must be well-organized, capable of multi-tasking, and detail-oriented. Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude are essential. This internship offers valuable experience in an international setting, working with experienced professionals. Located in central Amsterdam, the paid internship covers commuting costs and provides a chance to develop your event management skills in a prestigious brand environment.
